? P g electronics offers a precision scalable tachometer, model pst 201. This precision pulse tachometer comprises a high resolution pg coder, which can deliver up to 10000 pulses per revolution and a site configurable digital indicator. A common indicator can be used for very wide range of speeds from less than 1 rpm to several thousand rpm. One can choose the pgcoder resolution from a table depending upon the speed range desired. The two units mentioned above form a useful tool to measure rotary speed in rpm or linear speed in meter per minute or any other speed parameter with precision. The digital display unit is site configurable and has electro mechanical lock to avoid tempering. Upper and lower speed thresholds can be offered to set to give output contacts. Similarly analogue output can be given in the form of 4-20 ma. Ideal for use in paper machines, sheet metal lines, web speed and tension control monitoring of any form and numerous other applications where slight changes or difference in speeds are to be registere
